Dunedin Golf Club
Dunedin Golf Club is located at 1050 Palm Blvd. in Dunedin and is open daily from 6:30 a.m. until dark. The course itself was designed by Donald Ross, opened in 1927, and at one point, was the national headquarters course for the PGA.
The course aims to test your accuracy and improve your skill with twisting fairways, sand traps, and water hazards across 18 holes. Book your tee times online, which usually range from $20 to $45 a player depending on the day and start time. There is also a driving range, pro shop, practice greens, chipping area, and restaurant. You can even get lessons from the golf pro.
The Vinoy Club is located at 501 5th Ave. NE in St. Petersburg and is a private golf course also open to visitors of the resort. The course was designed by Donald Ross and then redesigned by Ron Garl. It is a links-style course immaculately manicured with enough challenges for the most skilled golfers. The course has 18 holes and a par of 71. One unique feature is that this course is Audubon Cooperative Sanctuary certified, meaning each hole is filled with diverse varieties of plant and animal life.
The Vinoy Club also offers a driving range, practice greens, chipping and bunker area, golf simulator, and pro lessons. After your round of golf, visit the clubhouse, satiate your hunger at the bar and restaurant, or relax in the lounge at the pool.
Belleview Biltmore Golf Club
The Belleview Biltmore Golf Club is located at 1501 Indian Rocks Road in Belleair and gives golfers a scenic course filled with tree-lined fairways, artistically positioned bunkers, and beautiful water hazards. It is open daily from 7 a.m. until 8 p.m. and is a semi-private club.
It costs anywhere from $25 to $70 for a member to play the 18-hole, 71-par course depending on the time of year and tee time. Guests must be accompanied by a member, and their rate is between $30 and $55. The Belleview Biltmore also has a chipping area, practice greens, driving range, pro shop, golf lessons from a pro, and a clubhouse with restaurant.
Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club
The Bardmoor Golf & Tennis Club is located at 8001 Cumberland Road in Largo and is open daily from 6 a.m. until 9 p.m. It is an 18-hole, par-72 course open to the public. Rates vary from $25 to $70 depending on the day and time and whether or not you’re a resident. Visitors have access to a driving range, chipping area, practice greens, pro shop, and clubhouse.
